Q 1. What is the difference between a payday loan and a cash advance?

There is no difference between a ‘payday loan’ and a ‘cash advance’ and the two terms can be used interchangeably. They are very short duration loans aimed at helping customers to deal with a sudden or unexpected cash flow problem, such as that caused by an auto repair bill or similar. These loans are usually for between $100 and $1000 and they are usually repaid on your next payday, although the exact terms can vary between lenders.

Q 2. Am I eligible for an online payday loan?

In order for you to be eligible for an online payday loan, you will need to be able to answer yes to the following questions

  • Are you currently employed?
  • Have you been in your current job for at least the last 90 days?
  • Are you over 18 years of age?
  • Are a United States citizen or do you have permanent residency?
  • Is your salary in excess of $1000 per month, after tax?
  • Do you have valid contact details, including an email address and both work and home telephone numbers?
Q 3. How much money can I borrow in an online payday loan?
The normal amounts available in an online payday loan are between $100 and $1000. Individual lenders may only offer specific amounts, based on the information you have provided to us.
Q 4. Is the money transferred directly into my bank account?
OYes. Once your lender has approved your loan and you have accepted the terms and conditions, they will be able to transfer the funds to your checking account.

Q 5. Can I access an online payday loan even if I have been declared bankrupt or have a poor credit rating?
Most of our online payday loan lenders are willing to lend to people with a poor credit history. This means that you will still be able to access a loan even if you have serious credit problems, up to and including bankruptcy.

Q 6. How long will I need to wait to access my loan?
Once you have spent a few minutes completing our simple form, you will need to wait for a short period whilst the lenders verify the information you have given us. Our lenders work as quickly as they can and most of our customers receive their money within 24 hours. If there is a problem verifying your information, this might be slightly delayed, but you should expect to wait no more than two working days for your money.

Q 7. Can the whole process be completed online?
Although this is an online process, some lenders may ask you to fax them copies of your bank statement or your pay stub. If you do not have access to a fax machine yourself, there are an assortment of different organisations who offer fax services in your area. Alternatively, some of our lenders may be able to arrange for online copies to be acceptable. You may also wish to have access to a printer to keep a copy of your loan agreement for your records.

Q 8. How much will my online payday loan cost?

We usually require that borrowers wait for 2 hours before they resubmit their information to find another loan. If you have been approved for a loan already, you will need to disclose this on your application form or in discussions with your new lender, even if you have not yet received your money.

Q 14. Is it possible to obtain and extension on my payday loan? What if I need more than one extension?

When discussing payday loans and cash advances, an extension is more commonly referred to as a rollover. Different states have differing regulations on rollovers of payday loans, as some allow unlimited rollovers and others do not permit any. This could include additional costs for you and even criminal charges if the situation goes badly.
